Back in the late 90s, when car audio was at its peak, a Sundown 8 inch subwoofer was a novelty. They couldn't handle much power, had limited excursion, and one wouldn't see builds using them. Fast-forward to today and it's not uncommon to see an 8 inch sub in an installation - and serious performers too.
